Scrabblenots are small, quick-witted rodent-folk whose prodigious memories and nimble paws have earned them a reputation as Midralis’s most relentless tinkerers. They mature in a handful of years, live barely six decades, and yet learn at a pace that leaves longer-lived races bewildered. Their warrens, whether carved beneath trade ports, burrowed into canyon walls, or threaded through great city sewers, all hum with clattering worktables, squeaking gear-sleds, and the soft glow of alchemical lamps.
